Meadow Oaks HOA Annual Meeting
The Board of Directors attempted to hold the Annual Home Owners Association Meeting at The Church of Corinth on Monday, April 15 at 7:00pm. Quorum was not met so there was no official meeting. Do to the cost of mailing and the lack of support from the neighborhood, the board will not attempt a third meeting. Thank you to the 35 residents that sent in their PROXY and the 10 residents that attended the meeting!
We did hold a Q and A session and went over the finacials for last year.
Issues that were brought up included:
New HOA law for Quorum, the board will look into amending the current requirements for a second meeting from 25% to 10% in order to hopefully met quorum at meetings.
Summer Social Event in the Park, the board would love to have one but it will take a lot of volunteers to put it together and run the event. Please email the board if you would be willing to help.
Patriotic Flags on Holidays, The board had only been putting them out at the entrance because so many were disappearing. Board will look into purchasing more and possibly having the Scouts put them out and retrieve them.
At Large Board Position, without a quorum we cannot hold an election. Two homeowners submitted a ballot and the board will review and appoint a new member.
Children Safety, it was brought to our attention that homeowners have observed small children playing in the streets. PLEASE be cautious when your children are outside playing. It only takes a split second for a life changing tragedy to occur.
Thank you!
The Meadow Oaks Homeowners Association Board of Directors
